Lost a very good friend today in a car wreck. I am so sorry buddy! Almost 2 years to the day that we lost Meg. Cant believe it.

So after being in the studio all night and doing post work until 4am for no reason besides my weird sleep schedule as usual [thank god my roommate laura, model you see] I have finished!
I was only planning on having one "Barbie" in the composite; however, once I got retouching I decided I wanted to play with hair color and multiple barbies since all Barbies are the same only with different color hair and dresses.
Thanks for being a trouper Laura!

UGH I HATE MY SENIOR PROJECT CLASS!
I will leave u with a pic of my roomie's lovely hamster...we think she is knocked up again. BABY HAMS SOON WE HOPE!

My senior project is consisting of a product shot with a model and finding a creative way of showing the product without having the brand name. EVERY VOTE COUNTS!
"Over the past several months, talented photographers from across the country have submitted work that illustrates the concept ofObsession...and our discerning panel of judges has finally chosen the top 20 semi-finalists.
Now W needs you to decide the TOP FIVE finalists— our judges will pick one Grand Prize winner from your selections"

Q: Years ago Greg Heisler was quoted in PDN as saying "I think you will find that most of the magazine assignments are given to friends of the photo editors." Is this still true? How important are relationships?
I suppose that must mean that Gregory has friends in higher places than I do...but seriously...I think it's less a case of being buddies with your editors and more important that you're someone they know they can count on to produce a great photo without fail no matter what forces conspire against you.
[love that answer]
